Community of Practice Teaching Workshops

As a part of institutionalization of EM, we believe that early investments in faculty connections with EM will have one of, if not the largest impact on the expansion of EM for the longest period of time. We start by embedding EM into our new faculty development program, implementing the Just in Time Faculty Development (JTFD) model developed through NSF and adapted for EM. Beyond new faculty, this community of practice assists current faculty as they refine their teaching practice with EM principles, specifically faculty teaching 200-300 level and Capstone courses.
