ASU Student Venture Legion Platforms Among Top 10 Awardees in AIC
Legion Platforms, an ASU student startup founded by junior Sandul Gangodagamage, has been selected as one of the 10 awardees in the Arizona Commerce Authority’s Fall 2025 Arizona Innovation Challenge (AIC). This prestigious recognition highlights the company’s potential in the Software as a Service (SaaS) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) sectors.
The AIC is a competitive program aimed at accelerating the growth of Arizona’s most promising startups. Legion Platforms stood out among 67 applicants, earning a spot in the final 10 awardees. As part of the program, the company will receive a minimum of $50,000 in non-dilutive funding and engage in a 12-week mentorship with an Entrepreneur-In-Residence to refine its business strategies and accelerate its growth trajectory.
