The Skysong Innovations Startup Challenge is an annual pitch event where Arizona State University startups compete for a chance to gain a total seed investment of $50,000. Grace Microsystems, one of the four finalists received $25,000 for their innovative medical device to treat migraines. Grace Microsystems is led by faculty Bruce Towe and Jitendran Muthuswamy from the School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering. Their startup is developing a wireless, battery-less method to modulate neuronal function to assist in treating chronic migraines.
